Trad’s of Jacksonville Garden Center

Trad’s Garden Center is a family owned and operated horticultural business founded in 1971. Their mission is not only to meet all of your gardening needs but also to teach children about where their food comes from. The center is really an “urban farm” with a chicken coop (yes, there are chickens in it), a root view center, a worm farm, an edible tree center, raised beds, and “Earthboxes” planted with vegetables in the winter which are harvested for a local food bank.

Student groups come to the center often and adults can attend lectures about once a week. Part of the work done at the center is to experiment with plants to ensure that they will grow and thrive in northeast Florida. Every plant will adapt to your house. The center also sells garden art, fountains, pots, tools, accessories, fertilizers, Earthboxes, mulch, Christmas trees, wreaths and more!
