Stewart’s Market

Luther Stewart, and independent grocer, has become an institution in St. Augustine. Every year we see his truck parked in front of the market with its bed full of Florida oranges for sale. We wait with anticipation for the seasonal arrival of beautiful peaches from neighboring Georgia. Much of the produce displayed in his store comes from the farms in and around Hastings and we all watch for the local blueberries, datil peppers, scuppernongs, cabbages, potatoes, and honey.

You will find freshly caught local shrimp and seafood as well as fresh clams from our neighbors in Cedar Key. Luther Stewart will do his best to secure your special order of seasonal fish. You will find the old local grocer experience here at Stewart’s Market on Anastasia Island.
