Owner Chris Dickerson is cooking up authentic tacos and more. His menu includes fresh, made to order Tacos, Nachos, Salads, and Sides. All of these items include seasonally and locally grown produce and freshly caught seafood.
Corner Taco’s sauces are made from scratch by Chris. When he says his menu items are “made to order” he really means it as he places the homemade ground corn dough through the specially made taco machine rollers and then onto the sizzling hot griddle. The cheese topping for the Nachos is made with fresh cheddar and brie cheese, tomatoes from nearby farms, and roasted peppers. Chris marinates in his Fresh Thyme Vinaigrette from his sister company, Corner Natural Foods You can find this vinaigrette at local natural and fresh food markets (see separate listing).
The pride of his restaurant is the large wood fired grill on which he sears the ingredients for your individual selection. The menu states that “We Prefer to Buy Locally” and he really does –right down to the pecan wood used to fire the grill! Chris realizes his passion for simple, clean, authentic food after earning an American Culinary Federation diploma through apprenticeship at the Cloister on Sea Island, GA. and work at the Little Nell in Aspen, CO.
