Bistro de Leon
Owner, Jean-Stephane Poinard, has opened a food-lover’s brasserie in downtown Saint Augustine. Situated on the north side of Plaza de la Constitution, this cozy eatery specializes in authentic French cuisine and proudly displays a 2010 Three Diamond award from AAA. With five generations of restaurateurs in his background, Chef Jean works diligently to keep his menu fresh and seasonal. He purchases local seafood and sustainably raised Clean Fish. He uses local vegetables when in season and Thomas’s honey in his dishes. Our very own St. Augustine Datil pepper products, Maggie’s Herbs, as well as, Florida lobster can be found on the menu. The sausage is homemade and the breads are baked on the premises. All of the Bistro's desserts and the delightful appetizer parfaits are freshly made and displayed in the glass case at the front of the restaurant.
